Emilia Romagna is a generous land concerning good food: here we can in fact boast excellent production throughout the overall territory.

The provinces of Ferrara, Bologna and Modena, which our farmhouse is particularly linked to, propose food and wine products whose quality is worldwide acknowledged and recognized. Modena and Reggio Emilia are really famous for the Modena Balsamic vinegar. The Modena Balsamic Vinegar is much more than the low-price little bottles that can be found in all the italian supermarkets: depending on the different aging stadium, the different processing stages and the place of origin, the product can have two different designations, protected and guaranteed by national standards: we have the Modena Balsamic Vinegar IGP and the even finer Modena Traditional Balsamic Vinegar DOP. Leaving from La Lepre Bianca, you can reach the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia to visit the most important vinegars and taste their products.

Beside the delicious food, in Emilia Romagna is well know even for the production of great wines: among them it is worth naming Pignoletto, Barbera, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Lambrusco. Around La Lepre Bianca farmhouse it is also possible to find several wine cellars and Emilian wine producers, where to taste red and white wines and even to buy them.
All the delights of the Emilian lands can be discovered through the many local festivals: every city as well as every village, from the smallest till the biggest, has its own culinary characteristics and during the whole years it is possible to travel through the Emilia Romagna and find every time new and unknown products and tastes. From the Comacchio eel to the salama da sugo of Madonna Boschi and again from Mortadella Please in Zola Predosa to the Parmigiano Reggiano in Casina, concerning food in Emilia Romagna we do have something for all tastes.
